Hi3798 Firmware Instant

The Hi3798 series is no longer supported by official Android releases. However, the open-source community has ported:

To install CoreELEC: download CoreELEC-Hi3798.arm-21.0.img.gz, write to SD card with Balena Etcher, insert card into box, and power on. The box will boot from SD without touching internal eMMC.
