Egs002+proteus+library+install Instant

Proteus Design Suite is the industry standard for microcontroller simulation. However, specialized ASIC breakout boards like the EGS002 are rarely present in the default library. To simulate an inverter topology utilizing this driver, the user must create a schematic symbol, define pinouts, and optionally create a simulation model. This report focuses on the practical installation of the library files required to use the symbol in schematics and PCB layout.

  • If the library includes a .mdl model, copy it into the same LIBRARY folder too.
  • If there are footprint (.LAYOUT or similar) files, place them in the LIBRARY folder or in the PCB folder under the Proteus installation as required.
  • Start Proteus.
  • Open the Component Mode (P → Pick Devices) and search for “EGS002”. If it doesn’t appear, proceed to the next step.

    • The EGS002 is an inverter driver board specifically engineered for 50Hz/60Hz pure sine wave inverters. It integrates the EG8010 control chip and IR2110S (or similar) high/low-side gate drivers. egs002+proteus+library+install
