7tsp (Seven Tweaker) is a utility originally designed for Windows 7 to patch system files (imageres.dll, shell32.dll, etc.). Unlike right-clicking a shortcut and changing an icon manually (which only changes the shortcut, not the system), 7tsp hard-patches the system core.

Why choose 7tsp for Windows 11?

The Caveat: Windows 11 receives frequent updates (Moment updates, 22H2, 23H2, 24H2). Because 7tsp modifies protected system files, Microsoft Defender and Windows Update may occasionally flag or revert these changes.

Cause: 7tsp sometimes breaks the new tabbed File Explorer introduced in Win11 22H2. Fix: This is rare. Restore using the backup folder (7tsp_Backup\restore.bat). Then find a pack specifically updated for Windows 11 22H2 or higher.

Once the green "Done" text appears, close 7tsp and restart your PC. When Windows 11 loads, your new icons should be everywhere—File Explorer, Desktop, Taskbar, and Control Panel.
