    If the system rejects your Register Key, check for the following: Rotation:

    Major version updates (e.g., V2.0 to V3.0) often require a new register key. Minor updates (V2.1.0 to V2.1.5) usually keep the existing key. Always read the release notes before updating. Recovery:

  • Minimal disclosure: store only PK, H, and policy flags server-side; avoid user identifiers.

    • Right-click the ZKBioLock shortcut → Run as administrator. This allows the software to write its handshake key into the Windows registry.
