Assumed environment: Linux (Ubuntu/Debian/Raspberry Pi OS). Adapt for macOS with Homebrew or Windows with WSL. ys9082hp mptool
Obtain mptool:
Set udev rules (Linux) so non-root users can access device: Let us assume your SSD is detected as 0GB or 20MB
Verify device connectivity:
Before flashing, try this: Put the SSD in an external enclosure, run HDD Low Level Format Tool for 10 seconds, stop it, and plug it back into SATA. Some users report the YS9082HP resets itself without needing the MPtool. Obtain mptool:
