Given the density of the map (mountains, forests, and cities packed into a relatively small geographical area), the West Balkans DLC is more demanding on PC hardware than the base game.

Before we hit the gas, let’s look at the map. The West Balkans DLC introduces eight new countries and territories to the ETS2 universe:

Additionally, it adds the coastal region of Istria and the disputed territory of North Kosovo. In total, the DLC adds over 20 new cities and thousands of kilometers of new roads. Crucially, it completes the land bridge between Central Europe (Italy, Austria, Hungary) and the rest of the Balkans, meaning you can now drive from Berlin to Athens almost entirely on new, high-quality roads.
