Designing a wedding album from scratch in Adobe Photoshop is a time-consuming process. You have to worry about resolution, bleed lines, layer management, and creative layout. This is why PSD templates are a lifesaver for photographers, graphic designers, and even couples making their own album.

You have downloaded a file called wedding_album_12x12.psd. Now what?
Step 1: Unzip and Organize
Never work from the download folder. Unzip the file to your Projects/Wedding/Client_Name/ folder. These PSDs can be 500MB+.
Step 2: Open Photoshop & Set Up

Step 3: Locate the Smart Objects
Find the layer named Place Your Photo Here or Smart Object. It is usually highlighted in blue or yellow.

Double-click the Smart Object thumbnail. A new .psb tab opens. Drag your wedding photo into this tab. Press Ctrl+S (Save) and close the tab. Poof – your photo is now perfectly masked inside the frame.

Assumption: You have Photoshop CC installed.
Step 1: Download & Unzip
