The developers have outdone themselves with the v1.1 Beta assets for Nergal. He is rendered in a stylized 2.5D cel-shade, contrasting with the game’s usual 3D anime aesthetic. His voice lines (new in this Beta) are filtered through a ring modulator that sounds like a dying diesel engine. It is unsettling in the best way.
