If you flash the wrong firmware, the router may not boot. The WDR7660 usually has a "Boot Wait" feature enabled by default. If the System LED is blinking rapidly and you cannot access the web interface:
Look at the sticker on the bottom of your router:
Do not proceed without this. Flashing firmware for the wrong hardware version will brick your router instantly.
Some TL-WDR7660 hardware versions might support OpenWrt, which provides an English interface. Risks:
