Editing your level does not advance your quests. A level 90 character in the first village (Helos) will not find appropriate loot. Use the "Quest Editor" to set your progress to "Act V: Ragnarok" or "Eternal Embers: Scandinavia" to match your power level.

The Middle Ground: Use the editor responsibly. For example:
For years, TQVault was the gold standard. However, TQRespec (often called TQRespec.exe or integrated into newer Definitive Edition tools) is currently the most reliable and user-friendly editor for Eternal Embers.
Important: Older editors like TQVault AE (v2.x) or Defiler do not work with Eternal Embers. They will corrupt your save because they don’t recognize the new expansion’s item IDs, mastery data, or level cap.
Using a save editor carries inherent risks, particularly with a complex game like Titan Quest.
