Let’s be honest—SLRR was never stable. Pre-Release 4 is better but not perfect.
The Good: Frame rates are smoother due to converted texture formats (DDS instead of TGA). Load times are cut by 40% compared to Reality Pack 2.2.1.
The Bad: There is a reproducible crash when entering the paint booth after swapping engines more than three times in one session. Also, the new dynamic tire model can freak out on certain track bump maps, sending your car into orbit (a classic SLRR bug, but now with realistic physics).
The Verdict: For a pre-release, stability is impressive. Expect a crash every 2–3 hours. Save often.
The wait is over! The next iteration of one of the most popular custom builds for SLRR is here. Jack V2 Pre-Release 4 brings a host of new features, stability improvements, and the classic MWM goodness we all love. Let’s be honest—SLRR was never stable

Common First-Boot Issues:
Standard SLRR had generics like “Sport Muffler.” In Pre-Release 4, you have brand-specific parts (HKS, GReddy, Borla) with unique sound profiles and power curves. There are also “junk” parts with negative stats, forcing you to scavenge junkyards.
