I wanted to capture the feeling of the Outsider finally finding their way home. The music in this game is hauntingly beautiful, and I tried to reflect that in this piece.

The album is built around a central theme that ties together the various tracks, creating a cohesive listening experience. This thematic consistency is a testament to the band's vision and their ability to convey complex emotions and stories through their music. Listeners can expect to embark on a sonic journey that explores themes of love, loss, hope, and resilience.

Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.5/5)

Stray was never just a game about a cat in a cybercity. It was a mood — lonely, neon-drenched, melancholic yet hopeful. Its soundtrack, originally composed by Yann Van Der Cruyssen, captured that with lo-fi synth pads, distant echoes, and quiet mechanical hums. Now, Stray x The Record Complete takes that foundation and expands it into a full-fledged listening experience, blending original tracks with new ambient remixes, interstitial city sounds, and unreleased B-sides.

Do these as you encounter them; some lock after main story events.

8/10 — A loving, artful tribute that works both as a standalone post-rock album and as a companion piece to Stray. Fans of the game will find new emotional depth; fans of The Record Complete will appreciate their restraint and storytelling. While it stumbles in pacing and occasional muddiness, its high points (“B-12’s Theme,” “Control Room”) are genuinely moving. Play it on a rainy night with low light — exactly as intended.

To earn this achievement, you must enter the Midtown Nightclub and interact with the DJ booth using a found record.

Enter the Nightclub: You can enter through a window near a robot wearing a traffic cone on its head, or through the back entrance via the pipes. Locate the Record: From the main dance floor, look for the bar.

Missed Opportunity: This trophy is missable. If you finish the chapter without doing it, you can return via Chapter Select.

Glitch Warning: Some players have reported the record clipping into the table; if this happens, quit to the main menu and Reload Checkpoint to reset its position.

PC Bug: Some PC players have reported the achievement not triggering; using a controller instead of a keyboard may resolve this. Related Collectibles
