Ssis698 — 4k Install

Before attempting any install, check that you have all parts:

Factory units often ship with buggy EDID handling. Before any other configuration, navigate to the manufacturer’s portal (login required) and download ssis698_fw_v4.2.3.bin.

Step 4: Power On Turn on your host device. The LED indicator on the SSIS698 (if present) should flash amber, then turn solid blue.

No Sound: Many JAV releases use AAC or AC3 audio. If you have no sound, you may be missing an audio filter. K-Lite Codec Pack usually solves this. If using VLC, check if the volume is muted or if the audio track is disabled.

Connect your main display to Output A (HDCP 2.3 compliant). Connect secondary displays to Outputs B through D. If you are using a projector that only supports HDCP 1.4, you must install the SSIS698 using Output D, which has a dedicated downscaler.
