The Shoryuken Wiki (hosted at srk.wikia.com and later srk.fandom.com) is a collaborative encyclopedia dedicated to competitive fighting games. It serves as the archival and technical arm of the Shoryuken community, which centers around the website Shoryuken.com. The wiki is widely considered the "gold standard" for frame data, move lists, and strategy guides for major fighting game franchises, particularly Street Fighter and Marvel vs. Capcom.
The SRKWikiPad's claim to fame was its elimination of the keyboard. In standard wikis (like MediaWiki or TiddlyWiki), you create links using [[brackets]]. The SRKWikiPad replaced this with gestures. srkwikipad
Imagine writing a sentence in your own handwriting: "I need to buy groceries and fix the car." On the SRKWikiPad, you would simply draw a circle around the word "groceries" and a square around the word "car." The device's SRK engine would instantly create two new blank wiki pages: "groceries.wiki" and "car.wiki."
This gesture set was called WikiScript. For power users, it allowed for a flow state that modern keyboard-based PKM (Personal Knowledge Management) systems struggle to replicate. You never had to lift the stylus to reach for a hotkey. Stock Android on the SRKWikiPad is functional but dated
The device (if you can call it that) feels heavy. It’s roughly the size of an iPad Mini, but three times as thick. The casing is matte black rubberized plastic, and it has one USB-C port (surprisingly modern) and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
But the weird part is the screen. It isn't LCD or OLED. It’s a low-power e-paper display, similar to a Kindle, but it refreshes at an astonishing 60Hz. Scrolling is buttery smooth, which shouldn't be possible on e-paper. This gesture set was called WikiScript
On the back, etched in faint silver lettering, are the words: SRKWIKIPAD v0.4 – Not for retail.
