Sketchup Round Corner Crack

If you are preparing a file for CNC routing or 3D printing, the "visual crack" is a real crack. Your slicer software (Cura, PrusaSlicer) sees that gap. It will either print a thin string across it or leave a void.

In this case, you cannot hide it. You must use Method 1 (Intersect/Delete) or manually stitch the vertices using the Move tool to snap them together. sketchup round corner crack

Visually, the crack appears as a thin, white, jagged gap or a series of broken lines along the edge where a rounded corner meets the main body of your object. It looks like the rounded piece is separating from the rest of the geometry. If you are preparing a file for CNC

This happens almost exclusively when you use Round Corner (by Fredo6) or Solid Tools on complex meshes. In this case, you cannot hide it

Problem: RoundCorner works, but then your screen flashes and you get a "Ruby Script Console" error about "NIL:Class." Fix: This is a conflict with other plugins (usually Artisan or SubD). Disable other extensions via Extensions > Extension Manager > Disable while you round the corner.
