A full install is not a "set it and forget it" process. Perform these monthly maintenance tasks:

adb connect [device_ip]
adb install rim4k-full-2.3.0.apk
adb push ffmpeg-rim4k-full.so /sdcard/Android/data/com.rim4k.player/files/codecs/
adb push rim4k-config.xml /sdcard/Download/
adb shell am start -n com.rim4k.player/.MainActivity

This method installs the APK, pushes codec libraries, and restores a pre-configured settings file in under 60 seconds.
