R15-01 Wifi Adapter Driver Download May 2026

For RTL8811AU:

sudo apt update
sudo apt install git dkms build-essential
git clone https://github.com/aircrack-ng/rtl8812au.git
cd rtl8812au
sudo make dkms_install

Then reboot.

For MT7610U: Driver is in kernel 5.4+ (mt76x0u). If not working: r15-01 wifi adapter driver download

sudo apt install firmware-misc-nonfree

Restart your PC, then plug in the adapter.

Method A: Automatic via Windows Update (Recommended) For RTL8811AU: sudo apt update sudo apt install

Method B: Manual from Realtek (for RTL8811CU) Then reboot

Method C: Manual via Device Manager (if no installer)
