The latest patch of Pokemon Resolute introduced Fakemon-lite forms (often called "Saiphian" forms). These are not in the original games.
These are considered "New Pokemon" by the community because they were added as a surprise in the v8.0 update.
Fossils are no longer just in the mine. Each is hidden in a specific rock formation.

New: Old Amber (Aerodactyl) is now found in Mt. Ember (post-game Johto), not the main game.

Important: The Metal Coat is now a held item by wild Magnemite in Syanwood Forest (5% chance). No trading required for Scizor/Steelix if caught wild.
