NEW YORK, NY — The New York University College of Arts and Science (CAS) has officially released the Dean’s List for the Fall 2023 semester. This prestigious academic distinction recognizes undergraduate students who have demonstrated exceptional scholastic performance and dedication to their coursework.
To qualify for the Dean’s List, students must complete 12 or more graded credits within the semester and achieve a grade point average (GPA) of 3.7 or higher. This benchmark reflects the college’s commitment to academic excellence and celebrates the hard work required to maintain high standards within a rigorous liberal arts curriculum.
"We are incredibly proud of the students who have earned a place on this semester's Dean’s List," said a representative from the CAS Dean’s Office. "Their achievement is a testament not only to their intellectual capabilities but also to their resilience and time management skills in a dynamic academic environment."
The College of Arts and Science, the founding school of NYU, is home to a diverse student body pursuing degrees across the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences. The students named to the Dean’s List represent the top tier of academic achievers within the university.
Students named to the list will receive a notation on their official academic transcripts. Certificates of recognition are typically distributed by the Dean’s Office to the permanent addresses of eligible students later in the following semester.
For a full listing of named students or more information on academic policies at NYU CAS, students and families are encouraged to visit the NYU Registrar’s website or the CAS Student Services portal.
