Berlatar di Thailand tahun 1930-an, cerita berpusat pada Sangmong (Ananda Everingham), seorang pemuda terdidik yang tinggal bersama pamannya yang kaya raya, Phapo (Teerapong Leowrakwong), di sebuah kamp penebangan kayu terpencil. Kehidupan mereka berubah drastis saat Phapo membawa pulang istri mudanya yang cantik dan modern dari kota, Yupadee (Chermarn Boonyasak).
Cinta terlarang pun tumbuh di antara Sangmong dan Yupadee. Setelah perselingkuhan mereka terbongkar, Phapo memberikan hukuman yang sangat tidak lazim namun kejam: ia merantai tangan mereka berdua secara permanen agar mereka bisa bersama "selamanya," sesuai janji cinta mereka.
