As of 2024, the official source is G3PLX via email or the TAPR (Tucson Amateur Packet Radio) store. Be aware: there is no automatic download link. You pay via PayPal, and Peter manually sends you a registration key. This old-school method frustrates some, but it ensures piracy is rare.
MRP40 has an internal digital filter.
MRP40 is not pretty, not cheap, and not new. But it is, for many hardcore CW operators, the most effective Morse decoder ever written.
It doesn't try to be a Swiss Army knife. It does one thing: extract Morse code from hellish noise. If that's your problem, MRP40 is the solution. If you just want to see what a 20 WPM beacon says on a quiet afternoon, stick with free software.
Rating: 4.3/5
Docked points for UI and Windows-only; awarded points for sheer decoding grit.
