This is the most misunderstood section of the M5468 electronic keyboard manual. The M5468 features an auto-bass accompaniment system.
How to activate it:
According to the manual’s chord chart:
If the chords sound wrong, check that SPLIT mode is not turned on accidentally, which would disable the chord detection.
Many versions of the M5468 include a simple sequencer:
Hold [SHIFT] + press [RHYTHM] key #20 (G key). This disables internal sounds so you only trigger VST plugins without echo.
Solution: You are using a DAW (Digital Audio Workstation) on a computer via USB. Turn off "MIDI Echo" or "Local Control" in the DAW settings, or use the Shift+Record trick mentioned above.
The M5468 is unique because it runs on either a DC adapter or batteries.
