LosslessCut is a free, open-source, cross-platform GUI application built on top of FFmpeg. Its sole purpose is to trim, cut, and merge video and audio files without re-encoding. losslesscut portable download

Always download LosslessCut Portable from the official repository or a trusted source:

Crucial Tip: Do not download LosslessCut-Setup.exe. That is the installer. You want the .zip archive for Windows or the .AppImage for Linux.

Cause: The portable version packs its own FFmpeg inside the resources folder. If you move just the .exe without the adjacent folders, it will fail.

LosslessCut only supports codecs that allow keyframe-accurate cutting. If you cut on a non-keyframe (P-frame or B-frame), LosslessCut will automatically snap to the nearest keyframe.
Fix: No fix needed—this is a technical limitation of lossless cutting. To cut anywhere, you must re-encode (use a different editor).

The portable zip includes FFmpeg inside its folder. If you move the .exe file alone without the resources folder, it will break.
