Step 2: Connect the CH341A
Step 3: Read the Original BIOS (Backup)
Step 4: Patch the Password
Note: Do not attempt to manually hex-edit the password block on a T470. The checksum algorithm is proprietary; you will brick the board.
Step 5: Write the Patched BIOS
Step 6: Reassemble & Test
Result: The BIOS password prompt will be gone. You will see "Checksum error" or "Real Time Clock error" – that is normal. Press F1 to enter BIOS, set the date/time, and save.
