After being fired yet again, a chance encounter with a mysterious stranger (played by Om Puri) reveals that Raj has exhausted all his "good luck." His life is a uphill battle—until he meets Priya (Priyanka Chopra) , a vibrant, socially conscious activist fighting to save a local community center from a greedy builder.

Raj soon discovers that Priya is his "lucky charm." However, the twist is classic Bollywood irony: The builder he is secretly working for is trying to demolish the very cause Priya is fighting for. Kismat Konnection then turns into a juggling act of love, lies, and legitimate luck.
