Launch Proteus 8. Open the Component Mode (P button). In the Keywords search bar, type IR2110. If the installation was successful, the component will appear exactly as shown below.

  • Place the custom component into the schematic and wire up bootstrap components: bootstrap diode, bootstrap capacitor between VB and VS, VCC decoupling, gate resistors, and MOSFETs.
  • Configure simulation settings: set accurate supply voltages, initial conditions (VB charged or not), timestep limits for switching edges, and include parasitic elements if needed.
  • Run transient simulations observing HO/LO waveforms, bootstrap charging, UVLO behavior, and MOSFET switching transitions.
