The Glory Meter: Every time you kill an enemy, you gain Glory. High Glory unlocks powerful "Sunstone" abilities. However, the higher your Glory, the faster your character's "Lust for Light" drains. If it empties, you become one of the Miserable Survivors—an AI-controlled husk that hunts other players (or your next run). The titular mechanic is the ball court. Unlike standard survivors-likes where you run in circles, the arena in TLACHTLI mode is a truncated, rhombus-shaped court. You cannot leave the stone boundaries. Every 60 seconds, a "Hip Toss" celestial event occurs: a massive, burning obsidian ball rolls across the field in a random cardinal direction. If it hits you, you do not take damage. Instead, it steals one of your equipped glyphs and tosses it to an enemy, making that enemy permanently stronger.
