Ford provides a free Motorcraft As-Built website. You can download the original factory calibration for free.


If you install a new or used PCM, TCM (Transmission Control Module), or BCM (Body Control Module), the module arrives "blank." It has no calibration files. IDS must be used to download the correct files from Ford’s server and flash them onto the new hardware. Without the correct calibration, the module will not communicate with the vehicle’s network.
