For the uninitiated, Fireworks Mania is a physics-based sandbox simulator developed by Petard Games. The premise is beautifully simple: you are given a first-person view, a lighter, and an inventory full of pyrotechnics. There are no scores, no timers, and no enemies. The only objective is to create the most spectacular (and physically accurate) chain reaction of fire, smoke, and debris.
The "Free v2" iteration—often referred to as version 2.0—is a massive overhaul of the original free demo. While the full paid version exists with more maps, the "Free v2" release offers a staggering amount of content for exactly zero dollars.
Version 2 introduced material density. Explosions now behave differently based on the target.
