Faudio Fa4 Firmware Install
Sometimes a new firmware changes the tuning in a way you dislike. FAudio does not officially support downgrades, but you can force an older version using the same tool. The trick is to enable “Force Write” or “Ignore Version Check” (hold Ctrl while clicking Start Update). Use this only as a last resort, as it voids any remaining warranty.
To get the most out of the FA4, proper physical installation of the cables and nozzles is required.
If you own the FAudio FA4, you do not need to download files or connect to a PC. The "firmware" is analog.
Note: If you are actually using the FAudio OTA (TWS adapter) attached to the FA4, you update the OTA firmware via the "FAudio" or partner app on your smartphone, not the IEM itself. faudio fa4 firmware install
Note: If you meant a different FA4 device (e.g., a keyboard, mouse, or other IEM), please verify the brand. This guide assumes the Faudio (FiiO partnership or similar OEM) portable USB DAC/Amp.
Installing the latest firmware on the FAudio FA4 is a straightforward process that significantly enhances the device's performance and longevity. By adhering to the backup protocols and ensuring the firmware file is placed in the correct directory, users can safely perform this maintenance task. It is recommended to check for firmware updates quarterly to ensure optimal audio performance.

The defining feature of the FA4 is its 3-way interchangeable nozzle system. These nozzles physically alter the acoustic path of the drivers, effectively acting as hardware EQ presets.
