Fanuc Parameter 1860 May 2026
Parameter 1860 rarely works in isolation. It is part of the acceleration/deceleration profile. You may also need to check:
| Control Series | Data Format | Minimum Unit | Typical Range (Linear) | |----------------|-------------|--------------|------------------------| | 0i-D / 0i-F | Integer (mm/min) | 1 mm/min | 100 – 600 | | 16i/18i/21i | Integer | 1 mm/min | 200 – 800 | | 30i/31i/32i-B | Real (decimal) | 0.001 mm/min | 200.000 – 800.000 | | Power Motion i | Real (mm/min) | 0.001 mm/min | 100 – 1000 | fanuc parameter 1860
Note: Inch machines: multiply mm/min by 0.03937 to get in/min. Locate the Parameter:
For rotary tables (4th/5th axes), set 1860 in degrees per minute. A typical range: 1000–3000 deg/min. Because rotary inertia is lower than linear axes (usually), higher 1860 is acceptable, but watch for mechanical lash. Analyze the Value:
Even with absolute encoders (Parameter 1815#5 = 1), the initial reference position establishment (APZ setting) uses Parameter 1860. After APZ is set, absolute encoders do not use 1860 during power-on, but any manual reference return (holding P and CAN on boot) will.
