Exclusive Download Enscape Asset: Library Offline

If you want truly exclusive assets that go beyond Enscape’s default catalog, you need to build a Custom Asset Library.

While Enscape doesn't advertise it loudly, you can import your own high-quality models (in .gltf or .glb format) to use offline.

If you have downloaded the entire official offline library as a zip/torrent (available via Chaos’s Education Hub or Enterprise support):

Backup the existing metadata.xml file (just in case).

Extract your downloaded offline master library into this folder.

Override any duplicate files.

Restart Enscape. Open the Asset Library. You should see a "Local Only" badge on all thumbnails.

Assuming you have secured a legitimate exclusive download (approximately 15–30 GB compressed), here is the definitive installation process for Enscape 3.5, 4.0, and beyond.

The default library is Euro-centric. Download exclusive Japanese Maples, California Palms, or Australian Eucalyptus models from specialized 3D stores. Tag them in the metadata.xml so they appear under your custom "Favorites" tab offline.
