Ets2 1.44 — Download

Verdict: Yes. Even if you rely on heavy mods, the stability of 1.44 is excellent. The Austrian rebuild alone is worth the bandwidth. The new double trailers add fresh challenge to reversing into depots, and the UI customization is a feature players have begged for since 2012.

Potential drawbacks:

Version 1.44 was a solid update introducing Krone trailer customization, Germany rework part 3, and mod manager improvements. However, as of 2026, it is obsolete for regular play.
