When working with multiple Zones:
If your Edit Zone is still struggling, activate Proxy Mode. Go to Mode > Proxy Mode. EDIUS will create low-resolution copies of your media. You edit seamlessly in the Edit Zone, and when you export your EDIUS project, EDIUS uses the original high-res files. You cannot feel the difference in the Edit Zone, but your computer will.
