Download Eve-ng Images -upd- – Exclusive & Deluxe

EVE-NG is highly sensitive to image naming conventions and specific QEMU versioning.

Instead of manual hunting, use the EVE-NG Community Image Downloader (GitHub – eve-ng-image-downloader).

Quick install:

cd /opt
git clone https://github.com/ulisse73/eve-ng_image_downloader.git
cd eve-ng_image_downloader
python3 eve-ng_image_downloader.py

This script connects to public repos and downloads legal, ready-to-use QEMU images for: Download Eve-ng Images -UPD-

Legal note: The script only pulls images that are either open-source or distributed with permission for lab use.


CSR1000v (v16.12+)

Upload:

cd /opt/unetlab/addons/qemu/
mkdir csr1000v-16.12.04
# Upload csr1000v-universalk9.16.12.04.qcow2 into that folder
cd csr1000v-16.12.04
qemu-img resize csr1000v-universalk9.16.12.04.qcow2 +8G   # Optional: increase disk

Fix permissions:

/opt/unetlab/wrappers/unl_wrapper -a fixpermissions

Note for vIOS images: They require specific virtio drivers. Always use EVE-NG community-recommended images (e.g., vios-adventerprisek9-m-15.2.qcow2).
