Fix: Use the "Print" method on the Purchase History web page. This produces a clean, black-and-white list of dates, amounts, and Apple Order IDs (which start with "M" or "G").

If you are the Family Sharing organizer, your payment method is used for all family members' purchases. However, individual invoices for a child’s or spouse’s purchase still show up in your purchase history – but they are labeled with the family member’s name.

To find a family member’s invoice:

This is the most common request. You cannot download invoices directly from the App Store app itself; you must go through your Apple ID settings.

Step-by-step instructions:

  • Open your email app (Mail, Outlook, Gmail). Find the email from Apple.
  • Open the email. At the bottom, you will see a link: View invoice as PDF. Tap or click that link.
  • The invoice will open in your browser. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow) and choose Save to Files or Print.
