Premiering on August 20, 2007, on STAR One, Dill Mill Gayye was a spin-off of the hit medical drama Sanjeevani – A Medical Boon. The show shifted focus from the senior doctors to the new batch of interns at the prestigious Sanjeevani Hospital. Created by Cinevistaas Limited, the show starred Shilpa Anand (later replaced by Sukirti Kandpal) as Dr. Riddhima Gupta and Karan Singh Grover as Dr. Armaan Malik. Their electrifying on-screen chemistry turned the show into a cultural phenomenon.
