You can permanently derender any griefing object, avatar, or particle spewer. The blacklist saves locally. Firestorm only added this fully in 2022—Darkstorm had it in 2019.

Fix: Darkstorm 4.0 predates BoM. You must wear classic system layers or switch to Firestorm for BoM editing. Use Darkstorm purely for flying, combat, and photography.

After extensive testing across Windows 10 and Windows 11 environments, scanning with VirusTotal (0/62 detections), and matching the original MD5 hash provided by the dev team before shutdown, we have re-hosted the final stable version.

Do not install to Program Files. Use C:\Darkstorm Viewer 4\. This prevents permission errors when saving settings.
