Q: Does the Dahua serial number reset work for HDCVI cameras? A: Yes, but it is trickier. HDCVI cameras (coaxial) do not have a web interface. You must use a Dahua DVR/XVR’s Coaxitron menu to retrieve the camera serial number.

Launch ConfigTool. It will automatically scan your local subnet. You will see a list of all Dahua devices. Locate your locked device—it will be marked with a red padlock icon or show "Status: Locked."
