Most JRPGs begin with a prophecy: four heroes, blessed by the crystals, rise up to defeat the Dark Lord. CRYSTAL FANTASY -Chapters of the Chosen Braves- begins ten years after that prophecy was broken.
The game is split into distinct narrative "Chapters," each following a different protagonist from the original failed expedition. The world, known as Aeloria, is fractured. The Crystals—once sources of elemental balance—have shattered, causing "Chromatic Miasma" to twist creatures into corrupted versions of themselves. The "Chosen Braves" didn't die; they scattered. One became a mercenary warlord, another a reclusive tinkerer, and the third simply vanished.
You play as the fourth Brave, Lian Vesper, a scholar who refused the call to action a decade ago. Now, forced by circumstance, Lian must gather the broken remnants of the original party to either restore the Crystals or shatter them permanently to break the cycle of divine servitude.
