Cossacks+3+out+of+memory+work

This method allows the 32-bit game executable to access up to 4GB of RAM on a 64-bit Windows system, instead of the default 2GB limit.

Note: You only need to do this once.

    If the game still runs out of memory, Windows isn’t allocating enough virtual RAM. This method allows the 32-bit game executable to

  • Click Set → Restart PC.

    • Steam launch options (right‑click game → Properties → Launch Options): Locate the Game Executable:

    -heapsize 2097152 -maxMem=4096 -useallavailable

    Cossacks 3 is a 32-bit game, so it can only use ~2GB RAM by default. Forcing it to use up to 4GB fixes most memory crashes.
