L'alcoolémie et les stupéfiants : La conduite sous l'empire d'un état ivre ou sous l'influence de drogues est un délit grave.
Les équipements : Port de la ceinture de sécurité (avant et arrière), port du casque pour les deux-roues, et présence d'équipements de sécurité (gilet réfléchissant, triangle de signalisation).
Auto-écoles (Driving Schools): Mandatory enrollment for practical hours, but theoretical study can be independent. Minimum 20 hours of driving lessons required for category B.
YouTube Channels: Many Tunisian instructors post video breakdowns of tricky intersections and priority cases.

Overtaking and Positioning: Prohibited zones (bridges, tunnels, bends, pedestrian crossings), safe distance (2 seconds rule).
Stopping and Parking: Distinction between arrêt (brief stop) and stationnement (parking). Prohibitions (pedestrian crossings, bus stops, in front of driveways).
Lighting and Signaling: Mandatory use of low beams in tunnels, rain, fog; use of hazard lights; hand signals.
Drivers and Passengers: Seatbelt mandatory for all seats; prohibition of using handheld phones (only hands-free allowed). Blood alcohol limit: 0.0 g/L for professional drivers (bus, truck) and 0.5 g/L for private drivers.
First Aid and Accidents:Principe de non-assistance à personne en danger (legal obligation to help). Marking an accident scene (warning triangle at 30-50m).
Penalties and Points System: The Permis à Points (point-based license) introduced in 2017.
