A: Yes. The new Windows driver will not work. For Linux, search for the chipset name + "linux-firmware" package. Example: sudo apt install linux-firmware then reboot.
A: Most JMWL150 drivers from 2022 onwards are Windows 11 compatible. If your "new" driver is dated before 2021, run the Windows 11 Compatibility Checker before installing.
