Error: "ByBase 3.17 not responding to BySoft 7"
Cause: Ethernet protocol mismatch. ByBase 3.17 uses legacy SMBv1-style messaging which Windows 10/11 disables by default.
Fix: In BySoft 7, go to Settings > Machine Driver > Force Legacy Mode (Port 9760). Do not change Windows settings.
Error: "Cut quality poor on 12mm MS; software shows 'Parameter 17 overload'" Cause: In ByBase 3.17 Build 17, a memory register for gas pressure can overflow if you use BySoft 6’s "Adaptive Speed" feature.
