The random event system (events that occur periodically, changing the rules of the school temporarily) saw additions and tweaks in v0.7.1.
The player progresses through procedurally generated floors, collects notebooks by solving math problems (intentionally incorrect answers trigger Baldi’s pursuit), and reaches the exit. Each floor introduces new characters and hazards.
Depending on where you bought the game, updating looks different.
Warning: Mods that worked for v0.7 (like the Friendly Baldi mod or Map Revealer) will likely crash v0.7.1 due to the updated script handling for the Principal. Disable all mods before updating.
