In earlier 41.0 builds, users reported that XD would consume up to 8GB of RAM after working on a document with more than 20 artboards for two hours. Adobe.XD.41.0.12 introduces a new garbage collection protocol. In internal Adobe tests, memory usage stabilized at 2.5GB even after 10 hours of continuous use.

Components are the backbone of any design system. In version 41.0.12, Adobe fixed a memory leak associated with nested component states. Previously, if a master component had more than 15 component states (e.g., hover, active, disabled, focus), the performance would degrade during drag-and-drop operations.
